I've been working on a Grandmothers flower garden afghan. This is being made with scraps and odd skeins. Much of the yarn I inherited from my mother.
I have added an additional row around each hexagon to make them a bit larger. I'm not sure what color I will put around each flower. I'll decide that once I have all the flower petals and centers completed.

Absolutly beautiful!!! It looks great!!! It is very colorful!!!
You have started a project I have been thinking of doing for several months--When I left home "Grandmothers Flower Garden" came with me (quilted), It is now gone (was over 65 years old) and I feel I lost a real friend.
Also please, please post your "I Love You" instructions ASAP (for me just the hand before you get the rest of the book mark would be sufficient).
Your daughters crocheted hats - I am now a 1-year surviror of breast cancer and hats became a close friend during and after chemo, not to hide my head, but to keep it warm.
I really enjoyed your site.
